This isn’t the first time Moraki has been on All About Cloth Diapers. With a nod to Autumn’s post: Moraki hits a Homerun with their new AIO, I would like to add that Moraki still has all our bases covered! Skinny thighs…check; chunky baby…check; 3 year old toddler…check.
I have to admit that at first I was like: Wow that is a lot of snaps! I was also thinking: How absorbent could this skinny little insert be?
Let me put all your questions to rest! While yes, there are a lot of snaps; that is why you are able to get the perfect fit no matter the size of your baby. As far as the insert? That skinny little insert can hold a TON! Just shows you that things aren’t what they appear to be.
Moraki was kind enough to send me a Hippie Print One Size All in 2 to try out. I have never tried one before so I was quite excited to see if it lived up to all the hype.
Moraki has two of my favorite things going for it. First, it is very well constructed. I want to feel comfortable that if I spend money on something, that it will last! I am sure that I will have no problems using it for a VERY long time. Secondly, I love buying Made in the USA products!
Moraki is a Momma owned company and are made by local California moms. They have an 18 month warranty in addition to a 30 day wash and wear guarantee. Can you say wow? I love how these are produced and where. And an 18 month warranty is unheard of! The warranty includes snaps, elastic, lamination, and stitching. As for the wash and wear guarantee? Use the diaper for a full month, if you don’t love it for any reason, send it back and they refund all your money (minus shipping)! Wow again!
I think the one thing about these that amazes me the most is how trim they are and because of that they really are a One Size that will fit from teeny tiny to 40+ pounds. I know there are a lot of moms that have to stop using cloth because their child continues to grow and hasn’t potty trained yet. Sophia is 20 months and 26 pounds and is still snapped down to the third row rise setting (there are 4!)with LOTS of room. I would definitely recommend this to moms who are looking for something for bigger babies!
While we have never had trouble with wing droop, (Sophia was always on the higher end of the growth chart) the wing snap is a great option to have! Depending on how big your little one is you can snap on either top or bottom to accommodate skinny or chunky legs. It really shines for babies with skinny thighs though.
As for that skinny little insert…all by itself it lasted 2-3 hours with my heavy wetting daughter. And because of its design, it dries FAST. Another great thing about Moraki AI2’s is that it can either function as a pocket diaper or you can just lay the insert on top of the cover and exchange insert for a dry one at the next change and reuse the cover. That is why I love AI2’s! Less wear and laundry because you can reuse one cover multiple times.
This is a cloth diaper that truly fits from newborn to potty training. It’s well made, trim, absorbent and dries quickly. Really what more could you want? How about a giveaway?!
Moraki is generously giving away one AI2/Pocket or AIO (organic or stay dry) in any of the instock standard colors or prints! Please use the rafflecopter form below to enter! Good Luck!
