Babyville Boutique is 1 Year Old and to celebrate, we want to give one lucky reader of All About Cloth Diapers a special gift of products for sewing diapers and other baby items from these adorable fabrics and matching accessories!
We have been busy this past year and enjoyed seeing the many posts and pictures on our facebook page. Not only that, we have been developing new products that are now arriving in major fabric stores and independents nationwide.
Additionally, we are delighted that our original line of Babyville products will be available to more and more moms now in select Wal-Mart stores.
“Cowbaby” and “Robots” are brightly colored prints that will appeal to little cowboys and cowgirls alike. “Sassy Cheetah” and “Sassy Dots” are just right for the fashionable babies and their moms that love perky, cheerful animal motifs.
Babyville Boutique now has a Stay Dry Wicking Fabric sold by the yard, a perfect lining fabric to use with diapers and other projects that call for an athletic wicking fabric. Diaper wearing babies may not appreciate the charm of the new diaper pins, however their moms will smile at the cute animal heads on these pins.
Best of all, we now have three new patterns, the Ultimate Pocket Diaper, Simply Soakers, and Totally Trainers, designed by an accomplished diaper making mom, only available exclusively through Babyville Boutique.
Additionally, two new books, 51 Babyville Boutique Projects and 51 PUL Projects are packed with clever, fun and functional, projects that are quick and easy. From backpacks and rainhats, to doggie coats and storage containers, Babyville Boutique products can be used for so many more projects beyond diapers.
Be sure to enter below for your chance to win this great assortment of diaper making products, books, and accessories.

Babyville Boutique blog is FULL of valuable information!! Check out the tutorials they have! I’m very impressed.
If you’d like to learn more information about the launch of Babyville Boutique check out the post written last year called Cloth Diaper Kits Coming to JoAnns, Walmart and Hobby Lobby.
This venture has been such a blessing to the cloth diaper community. More exposure to the ease of entering into the cloth diapering world is always a good thing.
I am beyond impressed with the success and growth Babyville Boutique has had in its first year. Congratulations, Babyville Boutique, and Happy Birthday!

I have never made a cloth diaper, but would love to learn!
October 11, 2012 at 12:26 pm
I have been making lots of cloth diapers. I love it so much I may continue to make cloth diapers for others when I do not need them anymore. I enjoy the whole process for being creative to seeing a useful item when one is done. The first cloth diaper I ever used was made of an old pair of pajama pants and I even hand sewed it because I did not have a sewing machine.
October 11, 2012 at 12:25 pm
I have not made one but my mother in law did and it looked pretty good!
October 11, 2012 at 12:22 pm

October 11, 2012 at 12:09 pm
I’ve always wanted to try sewing a diaper! I recently sta JoAnn’s sells diaper making kits!
October 11, 2012 at 12:09 pm
I made a few of my own cloth diaper covers before my daughter was born from the babyville patterns actually. They turned out great! Except that my daughter turned out to be a big chunky baby so she didn’t get to wear them! I am very interested in making the trainers for her now and will definitely make some bigger covers for the next kiddo!
October 11, 2012 at 12:07 pm
I am CDing my first and I made 32 newborn diapers for her. They did the job, but I see lots of room for improvement. I’m ready to branch out to making different types of diapers and I am always looking for new info on materials, patterns, and sewing methods. I modified a DIY changing pad pattern to fit my needs….and I used Babyville fat quarters to do it!
October 11, 2012 at 12:07 pm

October 11, 2012 at 10:10 am
I have not made a cloth diaper YET… But I have been looking into it! I just got a sewing machine and have been practicing on CHEAPER material! Cloth diaper material is kind of EXPENSIVE! I just got a tutorial for turning a flat into a fitted i am going to do that this weekend! I would absolutely LOVE to win this material!
October 11, 2012 at 10:08 am
I am new to cloth diapering, so I haven’t yet tried to make any.
October 11, 2012 at 10:04 am
I’ve been making cloth diapers for a little over a year now. I was so excited when a friend of mine told me that Babyville came out with some awesome PUL fabric and accessories at my local Joann store. You have no idea just how much fun I had making some brand spanking new covers for my little boy. Now I’m working on making trainers for the early potty training that lays ahead. Thanks Babyville!!
October 11, 2012 at 10:03 am
I have made a cloth diaper before and they turned out great. I still use the few I have left now with my third baby
October 11, 2012 at 10:03 am
The only cloth diapers I own are ones I have made. I love them, some are with the monkey fabric from babyville too. their PUL is super easy to work with and in my experience holds up very well.
October 11, 2012 at 10:01 am
The first not so well but the ones I have made since then are doing well.
October 11, 2012 at 10:01 am
Not yet! I am 15 weeks prego and getting ready to take a stab at it as soon as we know the gender of our little one!
October 11, 2012 at 10:00 am
Ive never made a cloth diaper, but I’ve asked for a sewing machine for Christmas just to start trying!
October 11, 2012 at 9:57 am
I made a bb cloth diaper from the book patterns with an extra twist….and it was awesome!!! the FOE makes it super easy, and it was my first ever sewing machine experience…. now I’m hooked!!! thanks so much
October 11, 2012 at 9:53 am
Yes I have made a few fitted diapers.
October 11, 2012 at 9:49 am
I bought some Babyville PUL but haven’t worked up the nerve to actually see anything with it yet! My goal is to make 30+ newborn fitteds before March!
October 11, 2012 at 12:24 pm
Hi there,
I am a new mom and I hope you don’t mind if I share my experience with you. I had 32 newborn diapers either finished or almost there when my daughter arrived. She was 7lbs 11oz at birth and she was out of most of them in a month. At the end, I was cinching a cover around her waist trying to keep the diapers on so I could use them longer. If I had it to do over again, I would make 10-12 newborns and use the rest of the materials for adjustable mediums that last through multiple sizes. Good luck and have fun! It is a little scary at first but once you get going you’ll find it’s hard to stop.

I have not made a diaper before, but would love to give it a shot! It would be so much more economical!
October 11, 2012 at 9:44 am
I haven’t made an entire diaper, but I’ve used their hook and loop to repair many a worn out diaper. So far it’s better quality than the hook and loop that was originally on the diapers. I love it!
October 11, 2012 at 9:36 am
Not yet- just got my sewing machine! Would love to win to help the start-up process
October 11, 2012 at 9:28 am
I’ve made 4 diaper covers of various sizes, starting with a class at JoAnn. Would love to make more and actually put snaps on instead of velcro.
October 11, 2012 at 9:21 am
I have made three fitteds from prefolds, and one turned out really well. I would love to make some pockets or AIOs.
October 11, 2012 at 9:29 am
I havemade cloth inserts from zorb 2 and they lasted a few months until LO became a more heavy wetter. Instead of doubling and make a thick diaper I just bought some prefolds from ozycozy.
October 11, 2012 at 9:14 am
I have made several cloth diapers, the first couple turned out kind of wonky, and they don’t get any use, but the last dozen or so have turned out really well and I make use of them often! I love making diapers!!
October 11, 2012 at 9:12 am
I am so excited for the new prints!!!
October 11, 2012 at 9:11 am
I have used the BB PUL and snaps a lot and really like them. I am excited about their adding the athletic wicking fabric and about looking at the new publications. I am disappointed that after a year our Hobby Lobby opted not to carry anything but the PUL because the BB stuff wasn’t selling. I offered to teach classes to help sell the stuff, but they never picked up on it. And, they never put it on sale, so it takes a while to amass enough of the little stuff if you wanted to use one 40% off coupon each visit. I’ll have to run over to the nearest larger city to see if JoAnn’s has the new stuff! Not that I “need” any more diapers, lol!
October 11, 2012 at 9:02 am
I love to sew, and love cloth diapering. What a prize!!!
October 11, 2012 at 8:58 am
I haven’t tried to make a diaper yet. That’s next on my to do list!
October 11, 2012 at 8:54 am
It wasn’t the best looking diaper, but it functioned!
October 11, 2012 at 8:53 am
I have the desire and some of the materials to start making my own diapers but just haven’t done it yet. I would love to soon! Thanks!
October 11, 2012 at 8:52 am
I don’t own a sewing machine and I have no real sewing skills at all, so I have definitely not attempted to make a cloth diaper. I am in awe of women that do though.
October 11, 2012 at 8:49 am
I have, but it didn’t turn out quite like I’d hoped. :-p
October 11, 2012 at 8:43 am
I’ve never made one, but I do have the Babyville book with patterns!!
October 11, 2012 at 8:41 am
When my daughter and son-in-law decided to use cloth on their soon to be newborn, I was thrilled. I used cloth on all my children and I will be the caregiver. Not only was I thrilled, but I’d found the material and pattern books at babyville, and immediately started to make some newborn diapers for my soon to be grandchild. The parents were ecstatic! I’ve made several versions of their diapers, so my kids can decide which they like the best. Once the baby is born and we know the gender, I’ll be able to purchase materials gender specific and really go to town. I can’t wait. One month from today is the due date!
October 11, 2012 at 8:40 am
I have not made any cloth diapers yet. I just started cloth diapering a couple weeks ago. This is all new to me, but would love to try to make some diapers to build up my stash as I am getting tired of laundering daily. I love to see what I can make as well. This kit looks fun and I would love to try it!
October 11, 2012 at 8:39 am
I have not tried yet but would love to. I have a sewing machine, I just need some time and the materials (and a little direction)!
October 11, 2012 at 8:20 am
The diapers I’ve made with PUL have not turned out that great, but I’ve done some terry and flannel ones with babyville snaps and I think they are looking pretty good. Now, I just need that baby to try them out on!
October 11, 2012 at 8:14 am
I would love to try to make a diaper.
October 11, 2012 at 8:13 am
I’ve been using BB PUL to make wet bags and such, but it was still quite pricey unless I had a coupon (I always shop at JoAnns). Hopefully the expansion will decrease the price, and maybe add some higher quality snaps to their product line! I have made all but three of the diapers in my daughters’ stash, and prefer shopping in person as opposed to ordering online-thank you BB.
October 11, 2012 at 8:06 am
I taught myself to sew by making diapers! I developed my own pattern, so it took until about the 3rd diaper before I had a good fit for my (then) 7 months old. I made them out of old burp cloths and receiving blankets. They worked great for months before he was just wetting to heavily.
October 11, 2012 at 8:05 am
haven’t made any yet, but i’m hoping to once my little one arrives!
October 11, 2012 at 8:01 am
I haven’t made any diapers yet, but I’ve saved tons of money making my own pail liners and wet bags from babyville pul!!
October 11, 2012 at 8:00 am
I’ve never heard of this…so cool and cute!
October 11, 2012 at 7:59 am
I have made a couple diapers, but they needed covers. One turned out pretty good I used an old t-shirt and a prefold. I’d love to have some PUL to use!
October 11, 2012 at 7:47 am
We’ll, I’ve certainly bought enough diapers, I might as well start making them =) Thanks for the giveaway!
October 11, 2012 at 7:45 am
So far just one cover made but I want to try a hybrid or aio soon!
October 11, 2012 at 7:45 am

October 11, 2012 at 7:43 am

October 11, 2012 at 7:38 am
I have been wanting to try these for a while, but have been putting it off. I would love to win the giveaway, and finally start making some diapers!
October 11, 2012 at 7:25 am
Yes, I love making them! It can become addictive : )
October 11, 2012 at 7:39 am
Hi Autumn,
Thanks so much for the info. This is great news! I pray that your pregnancy goes well.
October 11, 2012 at 7:41 am
I’ve never made a diaper. It;d be nice to see if I could follow that pattern and save some money bu making them myself.
October 11, 2012 at 7:21 am
My mom has made me a few and some insert for my pocket diapers I would love to do it on my own!
October 11, 2012 at 7:21 am
I’ve made about half of our diapers. its pretty easy. My friend and I were quite excited when Babyville came out and we could find snaps and PUL with the laminate on the correct side (for diapers), but the prices were more than we could afford. Maybe as Babyville becomes more mainstream that can change.
October 11, 2012 at 7:17 am
Never have but I’d love to try!
October 11, 2012 at 7:17 am
Would love to try my hand at making diapers!
October 11, 2012 at 7:15 am
I attempted to make a fitted. It turned out looking great. However, because it wasn’t waterproof, and it didn’t have enough layers, it leaked within an hour of wearing it. Plus I had to use velcro, which I hated! Hoping to try again but this time with waterproof material and some snaps instead of velcro.
October 11, 2012 at 7:10 am
This is a timely post for me – I was just logging on to start looking for a pattern to try my hand at making cloth diapers!
October 11, 2012 at 7:03 am
I would love to win this, We use cloth, but have trouble with leaks.
October 11, 2012 at 7:00 am
I have not yet but I have requested gift cards for JoAnn’s fabrics for X-mas so I can buy supplies and start trying to make them!!!
October 11, 2012 at 6:52 am
I have made some fitted cloth diapers and they work well. I would love to make some covers or pockets. Or even be able to add some snaps to the fitteds I’ve already made.
October 11, 2012 at 6:51 am
