Don’t Forget The Smores… or the Cloth Diapers!

by Autumn Beck on October 9, 2009

We just got back from our family camping trip to Garner State Park (TX), our first camping trip in our new camper.  Despite the many “speed bumps” (forgetting many necessary items, dog being sprayed by skunk, weenies rolling off into fire, evil gnats, winds that rocked camper, sleepless nights, rain) we all keep asking…

Have You Seen Cotton Babies New Cloth Diapers?

by Autumn Beck on September 14, 2009

Okay, I’ve always been honest with y’all so I won’t hold back.  When I first started cloth diapering I strongly disliked all things made by Cotton Babies. I know, terrible, isn’t it?!
You want to know what’s worse? I had never even tried one of their products.  I completely made some crazy assumption that it was [...]

by Autumn Beck on August 25, 2009

Winter: fitteds and wool.  Spring: pockets. Summer: all-in-ones. Fall: prefolds and wool.  Those are just an example but it may be more true than I thought.
Right now it’s most important for me to have simplicity.  That can mean many types for me but making [...]

by Autumn Beck on July 23, 2009

This is probably the most requested review I receive.  After I wrote the Apple Cheeks review I was flooded with questions about the comparison of the two.

I want to thank my new friend Jen Varty for writing such a wonderfully informative blog post on G Diapers.  I couldn’t have written it better myself!
G stands for Great Diaper

Genius, grow, grassroots, green, gentle, and genuine are some of the “G” words imprinted on the inside of a gDiaper. Some of you may use [...]

by Autumn Beck on June 11, 2009

Crafty I’m not.  But, give me a big enough motivator and I’ll give it a try.
Bum Genius aplix after about a year is horrendous.  Motivation?  Yes.
If you have tons (or just one) of aplix Bum Genius cloth diapers and would like to convert them to snaps, follow these simple instructions.
(here is the original link) These [...]

My Top 5 All-In-One Cloth Diapers (2009)

by Autumn Beck on May 30, 2009

When I started this blog in March 2008, one of my first posts was “My Top 5 All-In-Ones“.  As I read over that post I am amazed at the changes cloth diapers have undergone in the past year!
Cloth diaper makers have seen the demand for an easy, affordable, and absorbant All In One cloth diaper [...]

My Gro Baby Cloth Diapers Review

by Autumn Beck on April 27, 2009

For months I read of this mysterious cloth diaper soon to hit the market and blow the socks off cloth diaper users.  The expectations were high for a diaper yet to be released.
I don’t know if it was my stubbornness to not follow the crowd or my genuine quest to be content with my stash [...]
