A year ago it was hard to get to know the owners of my favorite cloth diaper stores. They were busy, I was busy.

But, as social networking grew and grew it became easy to connect with anyone in the cloth diaper business. Designers, marketers, retailers, bloggers and of course cloth diaper parents now can freely chat about cloth diapers, parenting or what to cook for dinner.

Many companies and their retailers offer contests, coupons and FREEBIES! through their Facebook fan page or Twitter account. Here is a sampling of the hundreds of cloth diaper pages: (please let us all know of your favorite fan page not listed!)

There are just as many Twitter accounts as Facebook pages.  Twitter allows an even more casual relationship to develop between business and customer.  Even if you aren’t a “twitterer” sign up for an account and join the cloth diaper chat that occurs every Monday night (~7pm cst).  Run a search for #clothdiapers and join in the conversation.
