What is your favorite cover for a fitted? Both Wool and PUL. I'm looking for something that will fit well over Goodmama's, Pooters, Sbish multifitted, and tinytush. I loved my rumparooz newborn covers, but wasn't sure if the OS would fit over a fitted, since RAR tends to be a lower rise diaer.

I have just recently jumped into the world of wool. I've been trying out wool soakers at night. They do a great job of stopping leaks! So, now I'm looking for some good fitteds for nighttime. What's your favorite?

Has anyone tried the Bamboozle fitted by Bummis? It looks so soft and squishy I really want to try it but I'm not sure since it has a microfiber core and I've heard mf usually only lasts about 1 year.. Will that be the case with this diaper too or will the bamboo keep it alive for longer?

I've also been looking at EcoPosh but the pricetag is quite stiff - is it worth it?

Comments/thoughts on both of these diapers are much apprechiated!
Karianne :-)

I mentioned in another thread that I tried out the Fab fitted last night on Camden. I really like it! I added a Geffen Baby Hemp insert and it was super absorbent. I put it on at 7pm and didn't change him until 8 this morning. The outside was mostly wet but not fully. He nursed 2 times in the night and once this morning and even pooped in it :P

I will be adding them to the My Recommendations page soon!

Last night my daughter wore a Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted to bed. I initially stuffed it with a microfleece and to hemp inserts, but the bulk was crazy so I ended up taking out the microfleece. She doesn't really mind the bulk when it is in the front and bottom, but this time there was tons of bulk in the back so she couldn't lay flat comfortably. Does anyone else use these at night? What do you stuff yours with?

Ok. I've been there. No cloth diaper keeps your baby dry all night and you are on the verge of using disposable diapers. When Sterling was little he flooded everything!

One day someone recommended the "magic diapers" aka Sustainablebabyish bamboo fitted.

I swallowed the price tag and tried it out.

I soon understood why it was called the magic diaper. The thing can hold a ton of pee!

It isn't stay dry but you can easily add a Rumparooz liner, Cottonbabies liner or homemade liner.

I have used many brands of covers over it and all have worked well. (Flip, Sweetpea, Rumparooz, Thirsties...)

I would say if you have tried everything with no success then try the Magic diaper!

Do your fitteds get stinky faster than others?

I find that fitteds get ammonia smell faster than any other diapers.

The problem is they are so absorbent that they keep a hold of all that urine and detergent causing buildup. I loved when I had soft water and could do a vinegar soak. Worked like a charm.

Now with a front loader and hard water, I have to resort to the bath tub and Hard Rock or Funk Rock.

Have you found fitteds to have more problems? Maybe it's just me :)
