Just curious about how and when you other mamas have night weaned your babies. I know every baby is different and has different needs, so there is not one easy answer. My little guy is coming up on 12 months and still wakes up every 1-3 hours to nurse. I don't mind it too much, but there are nights when it gets very tiring, even though he sleeps with my husband and I. How do you know when they're ready and how on earth do you do it without lots of tears (if that's possible)?
By the time I night weaned they were sleeping in a crib. I don't have any advice weaning them when they are next to you. I'd cave! I have read that a sippy cup can work but that is completely dependent on the child.
