Quick Question about Washing

No ways, that's so unhygienic. You have to clean and wash it nicely.
h2o barrier -
I sometimes wash every third or forth day if we've been out of the house a lot. (We use disposables when not at home.) Besides, a stinkier pail I haven't noticed any issues. As long as you are planning on rinsing the dirty diapers, I don't think it would be too bad.
If you can't rinse the dirties, maybe cloth won't be a good fir for the trip.
