Using someone elese washer?

Ok so IDK if i should take my diapers to my MIL or use sposies. She uses fabric softner in her washer so there is going to be residue, will it hurt my diapers? I dont have the money or DH go ahead for Flips or Grovia so its either take my CD or sposies.Amie

I've been washing my cloth diapers at my parents' house over the summer. My mum uses fabric softner normally but I haven't had any issues with my diapers so far (washing without softner when doing diaper laundry of course). If you are very concerned, doing one load of normal clothes without softner before you do diaper laundry should "clear" the machine. (This is for a FL - I have no experience with TLs but it shouldn't make much of a difference?)Mum to a beautiful baby boy born early April 2012 :-)

Ok thanks, I didnt even think to do a load first to clean it out good idea :). I really dont want to have to buy sposies. We are going to Puerto Rico and my MIL has a TL.Amie
