Detergent for Clothes Vs. CD

Is it okay if I continue to use CD unfriendly detergent to wash my clothes, and then a CD friendly detergent for the diapers? Or will there be residue in my washer from the detergent I use for my clothes that will get on the diapers? My clothes detergent is Xtra, and my CD detergent is Country Save.

I don't really think that would be a problem as I think the constant washing/agitation would prevent much of a residue build up in the washer. I did read though that you shouldn't use fabric softener sheets in the dryer you dry cloth diapers in as it could cause a residual coating. Okay, thank you Rhonda! I'm glad to hear this, as I won't have to get rid of my massive jug of "normal" detergent.
