Sustainablebabyish organic bamboo fleece fitted!! It's awesome and the (only) option that works for my heavy wetter at night. He's 6 months, 18.7 lbs and 28 inches, and I've just ordered a couple of large since he's about to grow out of his mediums. We love thirsties sized covers (not the duo wrap), we used small when he was smaller and I can imagine medium would fit now, or the flip cover (unsnapped so wondering if they will fit over the large..). Wool works too, but I need to lie a hemp babies between the fitted and the cover otherwise he's soaked in the morning..
Another option we use as a backup is Best Bottom hemp overnight with microfiber on top, but I need to add a hemp babies between the hemp insert and the cover to make it absorbent enough. It works fine but I don't like that the PUL/plastic on the wings is touching my baby's skin directly.
This is for 12 hours of not changing the diaper, and he's usually breastfed once during the night.
Mum to a beautiful baby boy born early April 2012 :-) I am also a Norwegian astronomer living in Chile
I use this combo only for night & it's amazing. I've never tried wool..... I'm scared. Lol
I use the organic flip insert with a hemp insert in the middle. I use the hemp babies insert. It's a rather large diaper but it is so absorbent it's crazy. I have also used the night time insert from Chelory.... It works good too but I only have one so we stick with the flip combo.
I love to use Rumparooz for my LO for night time. I use a hemp doubler. They are thicker diapers, but we haven't had any blow outs or leak outs with these. She sleeps 10-12 hours.
