Prepping new diapers-step by step

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and new to cd. I just ordered my first set of diapers and detergent and I need help with prepping them. I've seen many short messages about prepping but I'm looking for step by step specifics! How many times do you recommend washing them to prep. Do I wash them the same way each time that I would if they were soiled? Including pre-wash, detergent each time, etc.? Do I dry them between each washing? I searched the website but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks so much!!
