My pocket diapers are all repelling and leaking and I've tried a lot of things that haven't worked. I have stripped with dawn, tried lots and lots of rinses, and washed with Calgon several times (I have pretty hard water, and a toploader). I use Hard Rock Rockin Green and have been in contact with them, and they've recommended at this point to just soak the diapers in hot water and then rinse them out a ton.
Honestly these diapers are not used that much -- 2 were brand new and probably worn less than 10 times before they started repelling and leaking. I can't be rinsing these diapers 20 times after wearing them a few times only. Does anyone think that I should try another strip at this point (maybe rocking a soak or using RLR or try the Calgon again)? And does anyone have any tips on how I can prevent this from happening in the first place?
