I just bought a couple of Bumkins AIOs, and I wish I had done a little more research. I can't find much information on washing them. I read somewhere that they should not go in the dryer, but they have a cotton soaker. I was under the impression that cotton needed to be washed and dried several times to reach optimal absorbancy, as well as be run through the dryer regularly to maintain it. Does anyone have experience with these diapers?
The Bumkins site says, "Machine wash hot, tumble dry low." You are right that natural fibers take more washes to be fully prepped. Bumkins can be a good diaper. Just make sure to change often. If your child doesn't like feeling wet cut some fleece strips to provide a stay-dry barrier.
