I have 2 Kawaiis and I like them. they fit well and they wash well... my minky one is pilly on the inside, but looks great.

I just got an Alva diaper in the mail. I haven't tried it yet but I'll let you know what I think. I bought a super cute girly print and my little girl isn't born yet so I may have to try it out on my 3 yr. old boy, lol! I'll have to try it out at home and make sure he's wearing some manly shorts on top. ;) The only other pocket I have is a Rumparooz and the fabric does feel thinner then the R. It also doesn't have the double gussets. I decided to pass on the Sunbaby since their pocket is located in the same spot as the Rumparooz and I'm not a fan. I'd like to try a Kawaii and Go green's non champ diaper too. My goal is to spend no more then $10 per diaper. If I get 20 of the Alva's direct from the company it will cost me just under $5 per diaper. The Kawaiis seem to be available for about $7 at the lowest but they come with 2 inserts. I can't remember if I've looked at the Diaper Rite. Do you have a link?

Found them, thanks. Where is the pocket? Is it at the top of the back or is it more like the Rumparooz? I can't tell from the pictures on the site.

Bought a used Sunbaby and used it this week-- liked it very much.

I used my pockets as a cover with pre-folds a lot when my dd was still tiny. I found it was a lot less bulky then using the huge inserts that came with my pockets and I only had to switch to a new cover when she pooped (pre-folds don't hold in runny newborn poo very well). If your pockets came with little newborn sized inserts you probably wouldn't have the same bulk issue.
