Cloth diaper related discussion
Rashes, reactions, red marks, wing droop...Have a problem? Put it here.
I would like some tips on using coconut oil to prevents redness and rashes on my baby girl's bottom. I'm assuming it's safe to use on cloth diapers with no liner required? Can I use it every day as a preventative? What brand do you use?
I found Nature's Way Virgin Coconut Oil on Amazon and I'm wondering if it would be okay to use:
I've been using coconut oil and haven't had any problems with my diapers. I have been putting it on my baby everyday since he had a blister type rash on his bottom, which it helped cure and we haven't had any problems since. I love coconut oil in general and use it for all kinds of things. I forget which brand I have, it's organic extra virgin that I bought at whole foods and I like it. (I prefer the extra virgin). I've heard nutiva is good and it's a good deal on amazon. That's actually what I plan on buying when I need more. I hope that helps!
It is safe for cd! I use Nutiva and LOVE it. It's the softest coconut oil I've used and I buy off Amazon using Subscribe and Save.
