Cloth Diapering in Maryland

I am located in the Baltimore area, NE in Harford County. Any other cloth diapering moms in the vicinity? I know we have a nice, new store north of the city to buy local, but would love to connect with other Maryland moms!Michele

Not next door, but not all that far away (my husband used to live in Damascus). We're in Edgewood now. Have you tried the Soft and Cozy Baby Store yet? My first visit will be this Sunday for their Grand Opening (hoping for some good deals!). I need to get started on my stash.Michele

Sorry I haven't checked the forum in a while. Where is Soft and Cozy baby? How did you like the store? I've considered going down to Abby's Lane (Manassas, VA) but it is an hour away (and they ship free anyway).SAHM of one

It's in Hampden, on the same street as the Hon Cafe...915 W. 36th Street, north side of Baltimore city. They moved a couple of months ago, but not far from original location. Parking is a challenge on Sundays (closed Saturdays) but during the weekdays it's not bad.
I thought it was great...it's nice to have the option to buy in person and walk out with your purchase! The owners are quite knowledgeable and will answer questions with no trouble. They also have weekly classes you can take. Check out their website: www.softandcozybaby.com. I'm in Baltimore, actually close to Soft and Cozy Baby. I just had my first baby 3 weeks ago and we just began cloth diapering this week. I'm renting newborn diapers and so far most of the brands have leaked - Lil Joeys, GroVia, TotsBots. BumGenius XS is still too big for her. We're also trying prefolds to find the right fit for my trim lil girl. The store has been great in helping me find a solution. Most diapers seem to be made for bigger kids - my girl is 7lbs. Congrats on your upcoming lil one!

I'm in Baltimore, on the west side. Have been using cloth on my new little girl for about 5 weeks now (she's 7 weeks). I love Soft and Cozy because they are so knowledgeable.
