I posted on FB that Camden was on a nursing strike, one I thought was induced from a mouth injury. We never found an obvious injury yet he has refused to nurse all day. the last time he nursed was about 7 last night. I have offered and offered and he did nurse once this afternoon. After that anytime I offer he either runs away or puts his mouth on my nipple and sits there. No sucking. This is weird to me! My first 3 I weaned, Sterling self weaned gradually. What should I expect? Will he resume nursing maybe?

Oh I just posted on your wall, I didnt see that you didnt find anything wrong with his mouth. I wish I had some helpful advise, but my first stopped nursing at 3mo sense I dried up and this one refuses to nurse so I have to pump every two hrs :P
Oh my, you will need to see how it turns. Mine has done that a couple of times, but he end ups nursing all night. Today it was nursing marathon! I started weaning at 13mos using "don't offer don't refuse" approach... But he is far from being ready, he is almost 21mos and rather nurse than eat solids. We ask all the time "is he/she ready?" but we are the ones that should be ready!!!
Daniela Cardenas. SHAM of one cute 20mo old boy :) Hola from Mexico!
UPDATE: He resumed nursing the next day! He nurses about 4x a day now and is night weaned. I am so glad he came back! I know some would say I'm selfish but when he wasn't nursing you could tell he wanted to but couldn't.
