I have some sort of guilt for using MF. But it works so well. We had ammonia issues but fixed with Funk Rock. Do we need to go all the way to Natural Fibers?? can I use it guilty free? We have been trying ZorbII and I is great

My English is broken, can't write this reply duhhh.... But what happens is: I am not that green. But my biggest effort is in stop using disposables. My boy suffers when he has to use them and I hate them. The other day it came up to my mind this issue as I see/read most people in CDing is looking for natural fibers, at any cost (from Kawaii to Ragababe). I know and I'm told natural is better. I have learned that bamboo is more ecofriendly than MF. I love the stability I have using MF+hemp/bamboo. I have my nighttime solution a long ago ( your BG4.0+hemp recommendation, thanks:) )
So MF is bad? It is bad for my baby or is a fair choice? Putting aside ammonia issues, could it harm him or not? I'm still trying zorb but it is not so common nor affordable as MF... Any of this makes sense? I think the bottom line is I'm being consistent trying to be health and Eco responsible when using It?

Consistency is important however I would ask do you wear any clothing with polyester fibers? Or do you ever use a generic Chapstick or vaseline?
I'm not saying that you have to be consistent across the board I'm just asking questions to get you thinking.
For me, the fact that I am using cloth diapers is Eco responsible enough. I, personally, do not have a problem using mf. The main reason I cloth diaper is health reasons, that being said I use the unnatural mf knowing that it isn't in contact with my child's skin....of course I am still using polyester microfleece and suedecloth lined diapers :P
So, the fact that I am not exposing my child to dioxins and sodium polyacrylate is most important to me.

Thank you!!!!! I was ok but panicked after getting the rap of "not being green/natural enough" for buying a MF AIO. I will keep enjoying my CD journey, as short as it is might be (ds doesn't speak but ask for the potty when he is diaper less) ;) We will work one step at the time in the consistency. Again, thank you!

DaniPanda, I don't like MF because of stink issues. I'm surprised someone made you feel like you weren't being green or natural enough. In my opinion, that is just silly. We are all trying to do what is best for our babies. Often times there are several right ways. =)
