Hes Nursing!!

So my second is 8wks old and I havent been able to get him to nurse sense he was 4days old (day my milk came in). He couldnt latch sense I have flat&inverted nipples and he refused to use a nipple shield. So I have been pumping every two hrs around the clock so he would still get breast milk, but the last couple of wks I have been trying to get him to latch on and its been a fight but he has finally got the hang of it and hasnt had a bottle in two days! Im soo happy that I can finally breastfeed him that I had to share my good news.Amie

That's great! I had a problem nursing my 4th born...he was just lazy though! lol. I pumped for 2 months (manual as electric pumps while on the scene back then weren't as readily available as now). I had forearms like Popeye! I was so relieved when he finally took to the breast.Rhonda~ Apostolic Christian wife to Randall and Momma to 9 wonderful blessings!

congratulations! and good for you for sticking with it! as a mother baby nurse who sometimes sends home mommies who are still having nursing troubles 2-3 days in, this is good to hear!
