Using a variety of CDs (BG, Thirsties, TotsBots, Kissaluvs) while my LO does have a slight diaper rash (I think it results from using the moist disposable wipes). I have started using Grandma El's diaper cream with a cloth liner to protect the CDs and potential repelling. When washing, should I seperate the liners that have the diaper cream from my CD washing to prevent the petroleum and lanolin ingredients from mixing in the wash with the CDs which could cause repelling issues? I have heard from one person that this should be done to preserve the CDs and reduce need for stripping. I would hate to have to run a whole nother wash for the liners just to keep them separate. I wonder if I could just dunk the liners then just throw in with the regular wash. Any shared stories and/or advice?
I've heard that you should wash them separately as well. I don't see a problem with washing them with your regular wash...if you use the same CD friendly detergent etc. I've personally never done this, but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work.
