Newbie Help!
Peachy Green would be a great diaper for you! They have an all in one, but the soaker does snap out if you'd like to unsnap while washing/drying. It's made in the U.S. with organic material. They are fabulous! They are great for daytime, b…

Newborn CDing
If you don't mind buying used, you definitely might want to try the swapping sites. Most of the nb diapers are in great condition becuase they don't get used long. Even if you end up buying new you can get a huge portion of your money back…

What's your favorite nighttime fitted??
As if I needed a new cloth diaper related addiction, I have now fallen in love with WCW wool and fitteds for nighttime. I have used Sbish, but I'm interested in others too. I'll have to check Little Fancy Pants out! Thanks, Autumn and Cati…

Fabric Softener
Thanks for the response! I've avoided vinegar in the wash because we've always had extremely hard well water, and I've read that you should not use vinegar in hard water. However, we have moved and I do not think our water is as hard …

help: new to cloth and undecided
I would suggest some amount of Newborn sized diapers or covers. I know the OS diapers were HUGE on my son when I brought him home. You can get a dozen or two prefolds and covers in NB sizes and use them for that TINY stage. THere's also many di…

I also use vinegar and water for just about anything. I have also used baking soda. Works great and no worries about nasty chemicals!

Morning Sickness has me MIA
Oh, no! I hope you feel better soon. I had terrible "morning" sickness with my son. It was more like anytime a day sickness, but it lasted most of pregnancy. I feel for you, and hope it passes quickly! :)

Is the Magic diaper really worth it?
This worked for us when my son was a newborn! They are pricey, but I have to say they are durable. They look the same as the day I bought them. Of course he grew out of them fast, but I know I will be able to use them on future babies. I don't …

I'm showing cloth diaper favoritism
It's a fairly new company. For every diaper they sell, they donate one to a child in need. www.thelittlebeeco.com. The Mom behind it has been wonderful to work with!

Curious About Amber and Hazelwood Jewelry
Thanks! I was just amazed at all the benefits they are supposed to have, so I was naturally curious to see who had used them before. I'm thinking I may have to buy some and try them for myself! :)

I love the Ragababes too! I have both the Organic 2 steps and the AIOs and I love both! I also really like the Peachy Green AIOs, and one of my new favorites is the Bamboo pocket by The Little Bee Cloth Diaper Co.

Cloth Diapering with a Skinny Baby
Smart Bottoms work pretty well on skinny babies. They have an extra snap on the hip/leg and allow you to get a really snug fit around the legs. Soft Bums might also be an option. They have adjustable elastic around the legs too.

What is your favorite method for stripping?
How much RLR would you recommend using to soak a load of diapers? I really need to strip my diapers. I have really hard well water. I've just been putting it off. I think RLR would be a good thing to try, but I wasn't sure how much to use.…
