favorite diaper covers?
Thirsties duo wrap are awesome, but they are a two siz cover. I also really love flip covers, the stretchy tabs are great!

Thank you! I'm still not sure what this is or what caused it red spot, but I'm doing warm salt water soaks and warm compresses and coconut oil or garlic oil. There is a small yellow spot in the center of the red spot, so hopefully it'…

Using Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted at Night
I ordered a few Sustainablebabyish Snapless Multi fitteds and have been using them with a wool cover over it. I'm still experimenting with how many inserts/soakers to put in without making it too bulky, but it seems to be working well so far. L…

Using Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted at Night
Finding the right nighttime diaper is so tricky! I hope it works! How do you like the Thirsties fitted so far? I've never tried it and am curious.

Coconut Oil
I've been using coconut oil and haven't had any problems with my diapers. I have been putting it on my baby everyday since he had a blister type rash on his bottom, which it helped cure and we haven't had any problems since. I love co…

I enjoy sharing and hearing other mom's experiences too, Erin. I am so excited about this forum because I only know a couple people who CD, so this is a great place for me to learn and share my experiences. It's nice for me to have a place…

leg red marks (rash?)
I wish I had some wisdom to share on this, but I can say that I've had that (or something similar to that) with my son once or twice before. I wasn't sure it was a rash, maybe chaffing??? I always figure it's because his thighs are so…

My PayPal account is linked to my credit card....probably not a good thing considering how addicted I am to buying CDs.

Anyone else having trouble with Pockets at night?
I think I may have figured out at least part of the problem...I think it depends to a certain degree how many times he nurses throughout the night. Lately the teething has been pretty bad, so he nurses more...a lot more, and he nurses a lot at night…

Booty Buns and Go Green Champ OS cloth diapers
I have two Go Green Champs and they are great! I like how the insert snaps into the pocket and there are openings at both the front and back of the diaper for adjusting the insert. I stuff them with hemp doublers when I use them at night and they…

Day 2 CD diaster
Poor thing! One thing that you may have around the house that I've had success with is coconut oil...very soothing and safe for cloth diapers. I haven't tried it yet, but if you are breast feeding you can put breast milk on the rash, I…

Flip All in 2
In my experience, and from what I know, it won't hurt the baby to have microfiber touching their skin, unless your baby is sensitive to it. With the Flips, You want the suede layer against baby's skin because that is what will wick the moi…

EEK! We're moving in 4 months!
Cool! Southern California is a world of its own, especially when you compare it to where I live in northern California. But Disneyland is down there, definitely a plus!

I'm not sure if I'm over or under stuffing, how can you tell? I will put a Best Bottoms hemp doubler with a microfiber insert into a Kawaii Goodnights heavy wetter diaper, or a microfiber with two Thirsties hemp doublers since those are sm…

Setting up a stash for first baby

How do you make prefolds and flats work at night?
I tried a Flip organic "insert" which is more like a cross between a prefold and a flat, with a thirsties hemp doubler folded up inside it and a fleece insert on top with a Flip cover and it worked! That's as brave as I've got ye…
