One Response to “sore”

  1. Staci Says:

I think it looks like a PUL burn- yes a PUL burn, if you’ve never heard of it, then you’re a good mama, it’s possible I’m a tired fool and missed that you are using wool- so if that’s true, forgive the mistake :-) Look it up and you’ll find info that PUL reacts with the urine and after long term exposure, like overnight, the skin is left with a type of “chemical” burn. If you see the indentations from the elastic, it looks like the skin where the sore is was resting up against it (chub?) Just a thought. If not, would say soap reaction. Yeast is more like little pin dots, and bacterial would seem to have a larger red area around the sore. What I found works for this is Eden Salve from the Bulk Herb Store, and baby powder (gasp- I know it’s not popular anymore, but it helps keep stuff dry) and if that’s an issue it helps. HTH
