Kelly,
I have 2 pairs of cargo pants from The Children's Place that are the only 36 mo pants that fir my 2 y.o. dd. She's 44 lbs, all in her thighs, then add Fuzzi Bunz/Happy Heinys to her butt! I can't use any hand me downs from (4 y.o.) big sis, who's thinner & wore Pampers. She's very thin & pants are too narrow in the thighs for her!

Kelly, I have found GAP jeans to work really well. I just found a pair of 2T GAP khakis at the thrift store that fit perfect (and at a great price)!! Paisley also has some Levi's that I believe I got from Target. We use pockets and some Goodmamas under the jeans.

Hi Autumn,

I was wondering if you knew of any baby clothes brands that are particularly cloth diaper friendly in terms of fit. My 8 month old chunky monkey little girl has always been a size up, at least, but I have a hard time finding bottoms for her. It seems to me that the new style for girls are very trim, narrow legged pants. I have her in 12 month pants, and even those are just the stretchy type. This is fine, except every now and then I think how cute she would look in a pair of jeans or khakis. However every brand I buy won't fit over the bulk of her cloth diaper (fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius). The next size up doesn't usually seem to be any bigger, just longer. Is it just me or do other people run into this issue?

Thanks,
Kelly

Right there with you Autumn. In fact, I just blogged about this topic this morning: http://beccastoggs.com/index.php/2008/11/20/the-story-of-my-life-at-the-moment/

But just think, if you didn't have cloth right now, you'd be having to clean up a sposie dipe, put it in the trash (and hope it doesn't stink up and contaminate the house!) then you'd be doing even more laundry because worthless sposie just acted as detour on the way to getting it all over their clothes! NO THANKS!

I hope you guys feel better soon! ((hugs))
